Educational Access & Second Chances
The ChiShamiso Bursary is FlameLily’s education access program for primary and high school students—focused on rural and peri-urban learners where opportunity gaps are most profound. "ChiShamiso" means a miracle or wonder, and this bursary embodies that promise: removing financial barriers and restoring hope for a generation with the potential to thrive. This program is anchored in SDG 4: Quality Education, driven by our values of empowerment, equity, and community-centered sustainability. Provides tuition, materials, and uniform support to girls and boys in low-resource schools, with an emphasis on continuous learning and mentorship. Prioritizes orphans, vulnerable youth, and those with high academic potential.
